Tricky Business, what a cool name and oh boy what a fantastic magical journey I have had getting here...
My name is Steve Webb and this is Tricky Business. Magic is my passion and a pleasure to perform.
Magic has been a part of my life in some way or another over the past 40 or so years (I’m really not that old … honest!!!). The journey of magic has been a tremendous ride, and I am confident that long may it continue.
In 1985, at the tender age of just 5 years old (see photo), I was at a friend’s birthday party and they had a magician there. I was mesmerized with what I was seeing and that ladies gentlemen formed the foundations of this entire journey.
I was gobsmacked, entertained and confused, and I LOVED it! So much so that shortly after this I would pick up magic sets from jumble sales or car boot sales (the 80’s were hard times and money was hard to come by so a Paul Daniels Magic set for a whopping 15p at the jumble sale would keep me entertained (and others) for hours upon hours).
